The latest version of Adobe Acrobat Pro for both macOS and Windows is only available on subscription for $19.99 per month if you pay annually up front.
Not everyone wants to be tied into a subscription to use it though and it’s not very clear how to buy Adobe Acrobat Pro without a subscription.
However, you can still buy a one time purchase of Adobe Acrobat Pro without a subscription as we’ll show you here.

You get much more with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC including Adobe Document Cloud integration (hence the “DC”) which includes Adobe Sign for legally binding document signing and document management in Adobe Cloud.
Meanwhile a one off purchase of Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 costs $538 and doesn’t include any of these features.
You’ll also need to update or upgrade it after at least a couple of years due to updates to macOS and Windows, security updates, feature updates etc.
