Despite an online joke that went viral in 2013, Minecraft 2.0 for Mac does not exist. Minecraft 2.0 for Mac was announced as an April Fools joke by the Mojang website in 2013 which caused mass hysteria in the Minecraft community but there’s no official release date and no download for Mac. The timing of the joke came at a time when PC sales of the Minecraft game had reached almost 10,000,000 worldwide and the world was going mad for Minecraft.
