According to reports by Bloomberg, Apple is planning to release an updated version of the Apple Studio Display by the end of 2025 or early 2026.
Little is yet known about the project, which is codenamed J427, although it’s possible Apple will upgrade the Studio Display to support a 120Hz refresh rate.
This is something that many video editors and gamers seek as higher refresh rates are better suited to high end gaming and video editing.
The Bloomberg report also adds that Apple is working on a second display which is likely to be an update to the five year old Apple Pro XDR display which costs $4,999.
