Parallels 19 For Mac Released With Support For Touch ID

Parallels has announced the latest version of Parallels for Mac which now supports Touch ID and the latest version of macOS Sonoma.

We ranked Parallels as the best way to run Windows on a Mac and now the latest version of Parallels is faster than ever with password-less sign-in via Touch ID.

With Touch ID, you can sign into your Windows machine running on a Mac just as you would sign-into a Touch ID Mac.

This means you get access to all of a printer’s features connected to your Mac.

There’s also a refreshed interface which is easier to navigate and native dialogs while using virtual machines.

There’s better integration with Apple Silicon M1/M2 Macs especially for multi-touch gestures, more keyboard shortcut controls and automatic detection of Windows images.

For Pro users that use CAD software on a Mac, there’s also improved OpenGL 4.1 support meaning it’s easier to run CAD apps like VariCAD and Vectorworks Vision 2023 on a Mac too.

The standard edition of Parallels 19 costs $99.99 with the Pro Edition $129.99 and the Business Edition $149.99 per year.
