There are also rumors of a new entry level MacBook “Neo” powered by an A18 Pro or A19 Pro iPhone chip to be announced tomorrow costing somewhere between $599-799.

The 16 inch model comes with an 18 core CPU and 20-core GPU. Both models come with 24GB of Integrated Memory. You can max out the hard drive storage at a whopping 4TB too.

Pricing starts at $2,199 for the base model 14 inch M5 MacBook Pro with Pro chip with the 14 inch M5 MacBook Pro with Max chip starting at $3,599.

Apple Refreshes Its Display Lineup

Apple has officially announced two major updates to its monitor lineup:

  • The Studio Display (2026) has been refreshed with faster Thunderbolt 5 connectivity, improved camera and speaker performance, and enhanced internal processing – while keeping its beloved 27-inch 5K panel and core features.
  • The all-new Studio Display XDR takes things further with a mini-LED panel, XDR HDR support up to 2,000 nits, 120 Hz Adaptive Sync, and broader colour support – making it Apple’s most advanced Mac display yet.

Both are available to pre-order now, with the updated Studio Display starting at $1,599 and the Studio Display XDR at $3,299. These releases give Mac users a choice between the classic 5K experience and a more pro-grade HDR/refresh-rate-focused upgrade.
