Asus Launches Budget 5K Display

There’s another contender on the market for the best 5K display for Macs in the form of the new 5K Asus PA27JCV ProArt Monitor.

Key specs of the new Asus PA27JCV are:

  • Coverage for 99% of the DCI-P3, 95% of Adobe RGB and 100% of sRGB color spaces
  • ASUS Light Sync to automatically adjust to ambient lighting
  • LuxPixel technology designed for anti-glare and gives a “Paper Like” effect
  • Auto KVM switch so that you can control two connected Macs to the display with a single keyboard and mouse,
  • Connectivity includes DisplayPort over USB-C with 96-watt Power Delivery, DisplayPort 1.4, USB hub with USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C and 3x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports. There’s only one HDMI port though.
